The Rhinowares Tall Hand Grinder is a manual hand grinder that is slim and compact, great for brewers on the go, frequent travellers or campers, or brewers with limited space.
The body housing is made from stainless steel, which is both stylish and resistant to corrosive elements. The stainless steel also reduces the amount of static that can be produced while grinding.
The burrs are ceramic conical burrs, which are rust-resistant and stay sharper for longer, producing more even grind particles with smaller variations.
The stainless steel body and ceramic burrs also make the Rhinowares Tall Hand Grinder easy to clean. The best method for cleaning is to pull the grinder apart every 4 weeks or so (more often if you are using dark roast or oily beans) and use warm soapy water and an old toothbrush to remove all residual coffee. The rinse with freshwater and leave all the parts to dry before reassembling.
The three-pronged rotating mechanism at the bottom of the grinder is easy to adjust and makes achieving the right grind setting simple. The simplest way to adjust your grind is to tighten the nut as much as you can, then set your grinder from there.
A couple of helpful hints for adjusting to the appropriate grind setting:
- For grind to suit Aeropress or v60, ease off half a turn
- For French Press, ease off 1.5 turns
- For a Moka pot/stovetop, which is somewhere between drip and espresso, adjust your grind to the finest level (adjust so that the burrs are touching) then open up a notch or two.

Free Shipping Policy Free shipping applies to orders that include 1kg of coffee (this is a total, so your order could include 2x 500g bags of coffee or 4x 250g bags of coffee, etc. but total on the order must be 1kg) AND the order comes to $60.00 or more. We reserve the right to refuse shipping to some locations.
Australian delivery is available to all areas via Australia Post. Crema Coffee Garage posts all orders within 1 - 2 business days of ordering ‘In Stock’ items. Items not in stock at time of ordering will ship within 1 - 2 business days of arriving at out warehouse.
