Crema Coffee Academy Training Terms & Conditions

Please review the following terms that govern the purchase, booking and running of all Crema Coffee Academy Training Courses. Please note, that your booking of a Crema Coffee Academy course constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by these terms.

 

1.0 CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

1.1 All bookings can be cancelled as long as it is more than 48 hours before the start of the class. Request for cancellation must be received via email at [email protected] not less than 48hrs before the start of your class.

1.2 Cancellation of any booking within 48 hours of the class will incur a $100 fee per person. Exception may be given for unexpected/emergency situations, details or proof will be required in writing to [email protected] for this to be considered.

1.3 All bookings cancelled within 48 hours of the class must be emailed through to [email protected].

1.4 If a refund is approved, the refund shall be returned to you via direct deposit, this will be processed into the account supplied by you within 5 working days. Where a booking has been paid for on your behalf by an employer, Employment Service Provider or other Third Party, the refund will be sent directly to the Third Party not to the student.

1.5 Any refunds will be less any transaction fees* incurred by the vendor – Crema Coffee Garage. *Transaction fee is 3% of the total amount paid at the time of the booking.

1.6 A booking may be transferred to another person, please advise Crema Coffee Garage prior to the start of class via email at [email protected] or via phone on 4969 7422.

 

2.0 RESCHEDULING POLICY

2.1 All bookings can be rescheduled as long as it is more than 48 hours before the booking the start of your class.

2.2 The rescheduling of all bookings more than 48 hours in advance can easily be done via the confirmation email sent after the initial booking or over the phone on 4969 7422.

2.3 Rescheduling any booking within 48 hours of the start of your class will incur a $100 fee per person. 

2.4 All bookings rescheduled within 48 hours of the start of the class must be emailed through to [email protected].

2.5 Exception may be given for unexpected/emergency situations, details or proof will be required in writing to [email protected] for this to be considered.

 

3.0 ABSENTEES

The following section relates to participants who have failed to attend their booked class. Participants who arrive past the scheduled start time of a class will be denied entry and also considered an absentee, this is due to time constraints making it impossible to catch up on the material presented.

3.1 Participants who fail to attend their booked class forfeit their entire class fee. A full class fee will be required again to book another class.

3.2 Where Participants have booked Barista Foundations (level 1) and Barista Advanced (level 2) and fail to attend Barista Foundations, a refund for Barista Advanced will be given minus the full fee of Barista Foundations and any transaction fees* by Crema Coffee Garage. *Transaction fee is 1.5% of the total amount paid at the time of the booking.

3.3 Participants who arrive past the scheduled start time of class will be denied entry to their booked class. Rescheduling their booking will incur a $100 fee per person. 

3.4 All rescheduling of bookings (as an absentee) must be emailed to [email protected].

3.5 To reschedule a new class for your preferred date students must contact us within 5 days of the original booked class via email to [email protected].  Requests made after 5 days of the original booked class cannot be accommodated and will result in forfeiture of the entire class fee. It is your responsibility to contact Crema Coffee Garage within 5 days of the original date to reschedule your booking for your preferred date.

3.6 Exception may be given for unexpected/emergency situations, details or proof will be required in writing to [email protected] for this to be considered. This must be done within 5 days of the original booked course date.

 

4.0 CANCELLATION OF COURSES BY CREMA COFFEE GARAGE

The following policy relates to the rare case that Crema Coffee Garage have to cancel a class.

4.1 Sometimes we are unable to run a class due to unforeseen circumstances. We will advise you 48 hours before any such cancellation of a class via telephone and/or email. We will rebook you into the next available class that suits or simply be refunded in full if that is preferred.

 

5.0 CERTIFICATES AND REPRINTING OF CERTIFICATES

5.1 For the following classes; Barista Advanced, Espresso Essentials and Latte Art, a printed Certificate of Completion will be given to the student at the end of the class. A copy of the certificate for those classes can be requested via email to [email protected] and an electronic copy will be emailed to you. If you require a second printed copy a fee of $20 will be charged.

5.2 For the Nationally Accredited Barista Foundations class a correct USI number must be supplied on the day the class is attended and a Nationally Recognised certificate will be forwarded directly to the student within 30 days of the completion of the class. The certificate will be sent to the address supplied by the student on their enrolment form.

5.3 A copy of the Nationally Accredited Barista Foundations certificate can be requested via email to [email protected], a fee of $35 will be charged for a second printed copy of each certificate (electronic copies are not available) and will be ordered once the reprint fee has been received. The certificate will be forwarded to the address supplied by the student within 30 days of the receipt of payment.

5.4 Crema Coffee Garage does not keep copies of student certificates on file. Certificates for the Nationally Accredited Barista Foundations class are provided by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). Camden Haven Community College is the Registered Training Organisation RTO 90018 and will issue a nationally recognised statement of attainment upon successful completion of the Barista Foundations class.

 

6.0 PARENTS AND SUPPORT WORKERS

6.1 During COVID-19 restrictions student numbers are reduced per class to allow adequate space in the training room. Due to this small class size, parents and support workers who wish to attend any class will be counted as a class participant and will be required to pay full class fee.
